Panel Levels & Program Participation
Our ADR panel members are classified by experience, training, and role alignment. Panel levels reflect eligibility for live ADR appointments, mock trial service, or both. All panelists are held to the same standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
Level I – Senior Neutral / Mock Trial Judge
Level I panelists are senior professionals qualified to serve in complex live ADR matters and as lead evaluators in advanced mock trial proceedings.
Eligible roles include:
- Lead mediator or sole arbitrator in complex matters
- Panel chair or presiding neutral
- Case Prep Central Mock Trial Judge or Senior Evaluator
Typical backgrounds:
- Retired judges or administrative law judges
- Senior attorneys with substantial adjudicative experience
- Highly experienced mediators, arbitrators, or negotiators
Level II – Advanced Neutral / Mock Trial Panelist
Level II panelists are experienced professionals suited for moderately complex ADR matters and advanced mock trial simulations.
Eligible roles include:
- Mediator or arbitrator in standard to moderately complex disputes
- Co-neutral or panel member in complex matters
- Case Prep Central Mock Trial Panelist or Evaluator
Typical backgrounds:
- Practicing or former attorneys
- Experienced negotiators and mediators
- Industry professionals with formal ADR training
Level III – Associate Neutral / Mock Trial Facilitator
Level III panelists meet all program standards and are appropriate for standard ADR matters and skills-based mock trial facilitation.
Eligible roles include:
- Mediator or arbitrator in standard disputes
- Co-mediator or assistant panelist
- Case Prep Central Mock Trial Facilitator or Simulation Moderator
Typical backgrounds:
- Early- to mid-career attorneys
- Trained mediators or arbitrators
- Professionals transitioning into ADR practice
Level IV – Emerging Neutral / Mock Trial Participant
Level IV panelists are developing professionals participating under supervision in ADR and mock trial environments.
Eligible roles include:
- Supervised mediation or arbitration support roles
- Observer or assistant neutral roles
- Case Prep Central Mock Trial Participant
Typical backgrounds:
- Law students or recent graduates
- Newly trained mediators or arbitrators
- Professionals gaining initial ADR exposure
Level IV panelists do not serve as sole decision-makers in live ADR matters unless expressly authorized.
Role Transparency
Participation in the Case Prep Central Mock Trial Program is clearly identified as simulated and educational in nature. Mock trial roles do not involve binding or non-binding dispute resolution and are distinguished from live ADR appointments.
